Career Transition

Most fighters do not get to choose the moment they stop. They can choose what they are walking into. Here is how we plan the next chapter, years before it starts.

Where A Career Leads Next

Four pathways, built while still competing

The competitive career is the trunk. Every pathway below it branches off years before retirement, not the week after the final fight.

Competitive Career

Media & Broadcasting

Ringside commentary and analysis built on credibility earned while still competing, not applied for after retirement.

Coaching & Corner Work

Passing on real fight-camp experience, from technical coaching to a seat in the corner on fight night.

Business Ventures

Equipment brands, gyms and nutrition lines built on a name that already means something in the sport.

Ambassador Roles

Long-term partnerships with promotions or brands that value a recognisable face and a clean reputation.

Why the planning starts years early

An athlete’s identity is tied to competing for their entire career. Walking away without a plan for what replaces that is one of the hardest parts of retirement, and one of the most avoidable.

  • Relationships with broadcasters and promoters built years before retirement, not the week after
  • Media training while still competing, so a camera-facing role is not a first-time experience
  • Coaching or business ventures tested part-time during the career, not started cold afterwards
  • A personal brand distinct from “the fighter”, so there is an identity to transition into

Thinking beyond the ring? Let’s start planning while there’s time to do it right.
